“Loving whole-heartedly,
spontaneous and eternal, pouring your all and everything into this one existence, this one moment. that’s photography, that’s celebrating life, that’s what I strive for ”
Thanks to my dearest friend and soul-brother, Santiago "Loco" Boceta, for traveling to Portugal with me and bringing dreams alive!
My life in a nutshell
Constantin was born and raised in Vienna. When he was 18 years old he started traveling the world, following his passion for people and their stories. In 2011 Constantin graduated with a BA in Communication and Philosophy from the University of California Santa Barbara and later pursued his MSc in Marketing at ISCTE Business School in Lisbon. Ever since he moved to the Golden State, his passion for surfing and discovering waves has driven him to explore countries such as Nicaragua, France, Morocco and many more. In 2016, the artist participated in the prestigious Red Bull Illume photography award, where he reached the semifinals. Out of 36.000 submissions, one of his images was shortlisted under the top 275 and featured in several publications, as well as the official Red Bull Illume coffee table book. The selected image originated from a 4 months visit to Nicaragua, after which he had his first solo-exhibition ("Waves for Hope") at Hotel Altstadt Vienna. From the exhibition proceeds, Constantin donated close to EUR 2500 to three befriended families in central America. During the summer months, Constantin teaches photography at "Sommerakademie" (SOAK) in Zakyntos, Greece. His wedding reportages have been published in several large magazines and blogs such as "Hochzeitswahn", "Viennese Bride", "Braut.de" and others. Most recently, Constantin opened his own gallery in Vienna, where he hopes to inspire people to travel the world. Last but not least, Constantin told me, to tell you, that he hates writing in 3rd person, however he realised that sometimes you need to "market" yourself in this cold-cruel world ;). Much love and kisses he sends you!
